Mariano returns to Wakefield as Mellars joins Rovers......
Featherstone Rovers wish to inform supporters that Frankie Mariano has returned to Wakefield Wildcats and will be in their squad for their trip to Salford City Reds on Monday. In return, we are delighted to announce that centre/ back-row Vince Mellars has joined Featherstone Rovers from Wakefield Wildcasts on loan. Former New Zealand Warriors, Cronulla Sharks, Sydney Roosters and Crusaders RL player Mellors is vastly experienced and has scored 3 tries in 7 Super League appearances so far in 2013.
Featherstone Rovers Head Coach Ryan Sheridan said "Having lost several players recently due to injury and Vince Mellars being available we wanted to ensure that we were not caught short in vital positions. We look forward to welcoming Vince to our squad and I am sure he will make a positive impact."
Featherstone Rovers face Doncaster on Sunday 9th June (3pm) with admission £17 (adults) £10 (concessions) and £5 children.
